How can I properly install a custom made Windows 7 theme?
I just installed Windows 7 onto my laptop and so I went off in search of some good themes for me to use.
I have found a couple but they aren’t installing to the effect that screen shots promised they would.
Is there a proper way to install a 3rd party (custom) theme for Windows 7? Or are the screenshots with the cool looking windows and menus just hocus pocus to get the download numbers up?

U can use this program which does all of the hacking for you to allow you to install custom themes. Why microsoft doesnt allow this by default is beyond me. This is safe, i have used it:
Then to find themes search Deviantart. Stick to themes made for windows 7. I had issues with using vista themes on windows 7.
