How long can I use Windows 7 before it becomes bricked?
I installed Windows 7 a couple weeks ago on my laptop. But I am considering installing it onto my desktop. Does anyone know if the operating system will brick its self before the official release of the OS?
I intend on buy Windows 7 and have a beta key.
When upgrading from Windows Vista to Windows 7, will I loose my current files?
Thanks in advance.

Hi ZMans,
If you’ve already downloaded and have the key you should be fine. However, remember that the Beta ends on Aug. 1, 2009.
At that time you’ll have to revert back to your previous OS, so be sure you have what you need for that. If you have any questions, check out this link (toward the bottom):.
