I am using windows 7 ultimate. I cant hear any login or shutting down sounds. How can i enable them?
I am using windows 7 ultimate. When i login or shut down I cant hear any music. I have a acer laptop. There is no problem with the sound card. I can play songs in windows media player and it works just fine. Its only the login and shutdown sounds. Please help on how i can enable them.

these days when u install windows, u need to install sound drivers in the end too
probably that can be the problem

Goto Control Panel from Start Menu and select Sound. Goto the Sounds tab and select a Sound Scheme. You’ll have an option to play the sound file after selecting a scheme so go figure which one you like the best.
