I've been using it since the RC came out here and at work. The only thing to keep in mind is it will take a few hours (my took about 4) with the RC. Current the migration process takes a while for all of the Vista configuration object. Installing w/o an upgrade takes about 1 hour. Your specs are close to mine and I upgraded without any issue. It worked, but it wasn't clean and I had problems. I then did a fresh install and it then worked seamlessly. Try the upgrade first, but bear in mind a fresh install might be necessary.
